Just an added note: AFS is still unhappy after another 24 hour wait, so the "reset" that I mentioned in my previous post was probably due to something else not time-related. My local filesystems are also ext3 (I believe the default for RH7). Sorry about the double post; I forgot to subscribe before posting. Thanks, -Brennan Sellner
