[OpenAFS] stopping AFS problem

Hmm.. The RedHat scripts should keep the client from starting without
network..  However, the server scripts may force a load of the client
module anyways.  ISTR a bug where you could get libafs into a
half-state where the only recovery is rebooting.  Starting the client
without a network is one of these methods.  However, the 1.2.2-rh7.2.1
RPMS should include script code to prevent the client from loading.

Do you actually turn off the network completely?  Or did you just
unplug it from the wall?  I.e. does the ethernet still come up with
an IP address?
