Hi...
I'm trying to install OpenAFS on my Red Hat 7.2 system so that I can
access the AFS system at Carnegie Mellon.
However, I'm confused about what I have to do - the documentation on
openafs.org refers to an AFS CD-ROM (which I don't have) and doesn't at
all mention the openafs rpm's that are on the site.
I don't need to recompile my kernel do I? I hope not, because then I'm
not going to bother with it.
Can I just use the rpm's listed under Red Hat 7.2 in downloads? Which
ones do I need? I already installed openafs-1.2.2-rh7.2.1.i386.rpm but
that didn't seem to do much, I assume I need openafs-client too. Where
are afs directories mounted on my computer (ie. how will I know when it's
working)?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
