[OpenAFS] Starting up and shutting down AFS

Hi!

I am running OpenAFS on an Apple PowerPC G4 under Mac OS X 10.1.5. 
Occasionally I need to shutdown and restart the AFS client without 
rebooting the computer. I use the command "afsd shutown", but any 
attempt to restart the client (using the OpenAFS script) fails due to 
the remaining alias/link to the afs volume on the /Network directory. It 
cannot be removed in any way. The only solution is to reboot the 
machine. Have you any suggestion ?
