Nope. We never released 1.2.5 (or anything newer than 1.2.b) hence the
question. 1.2.2b does run on (the only) XP (machine I have available)

Just for my curiousity, it this the first version of the client you
installed or did you have a previous OpenAFS or IBM AFS on it?
