[OpenAFS] Windows XP

Interesting. I'm seeing the same type of error on Win2k w/ the 1.0.4.1
and 1.2.2.b clients. My situation could be a bit different. The client
works fine... for a while. We've had the client running on public lab
machines that sit idle for long periods of times. It's during this time
that something flakes out with the client. A user logs in, tries to get
tokens, and gets the same error message you posted. The work around is
simply restarting the afs service. All is well after that- for a while.

At first I thought this was a problem w/ 1.0.4.1 until I started working
w/ 1.2.2b. I loaded 1.2.2b on a freshly installed Win2k machine. All was
well... until the machine sat on my desk, logged out, for a weekend. I
returned to work to find the same thing happening with the latest client.
The service is running. I stop and restart the service and everything is
fine. Strange. Nothing is installed on this test box except for the
base OS and winzip. :-)

I take this to be a partial answer to the earlier question as to whether
OpenAFS runs on XP.

The error message is:
The AFS Client was unable to obtain tokens as jgambogi in cell usgs.gov
Error: 11862791 (AFS Service may not have started)
Though the AFS client window claims that the client is running.
