Which means absolutely nothing, since /etc/services just supply
name mappings when looking up service names. Either the

as in started something from /etc/init.d/blablabla, or
/etc/inetd.conf ( or really, running netstat and figure out what
actually is listening to the ports ) is the way to figure out
what ports are in use.

Don't know if it is helpful, but what does fs getclientaddrs say?
Still, i'm guessing that the problem is the kernel 2.2.x /
openafs 1.2.3 (and appearantly 1.2.5 also ) It sounds far to
similar... So, if 1.2.3 - 1.2.5 doesn't work, try a lower
version of openafs? Also, in what way doesn't 2.4 boot on sun4c?
If it is just that the kernel is to big try modularizing it
more, or dropping a lot of stuff you think you'll not be needing?

Also, what you are saying is that this is a sun4c boxen? Cool,
haven't tried to build a kernel on one of those in a
while. The last one i had was a clockdoubled Sparc 2. (Had a
nagging feeling it actually were faster than my classic...)
