[OpenAFS] Changing a volume's status

Hi all,

someone asked it before but noone posted an answer so
I'll ask one more time ...

Is it possible to change a volume's status just like
in the following example:

Volume V on Server A is replicated as RO to Server B as V.readonly .
Oops, server A crashes. Now I want to take V online
as RW again and there's still V.readonly on B.

Is there a way to change V.readonly's status from RO to RW
(and to change the VLDB-entry)?
