We have such a Perl script that we've been using here at Stanford for
quite some time. I keep meaning to clean it up for more general
distribution, but if you'd like a copy of it as is, just let me know and
I'll send you a copy.
It's smart enough to not cross mount points, but optionally can cross
mount points if you ask it to.
