[OpenAFS] Time Sync

Ok my afs servers got out of sync from my krb5 servers recently. I am running
ntpd on the linux afs servers and xntpd on my solaris krb5 servers.

I am not sure why the linux servers lost time (Dell 1650's running redhat 7.3)
but I am looking for exactly what people are doing to keep time in sync.

Also I get some msgs like this,

afs: setting clock back 2 seconds (via 128.8.126.131 in cell csic.cs.umd.edu).

What are other people doing for time sync?
