[OpenAFS] OpenAFS Win2k (status, building)

Hello,

I've been googling for status information on the OpenAFS Windows client,
but haven't found much up-to-date information.

Is the client maintained? Is the current release to be considered
"stable" (no known major data corruption bugs or anything)?

Where can I find build instructions for Windows (I don't have a
development environment set up at all)? Or is the 1.2.2b release
(conveniently downloadable from the site) stable/current enough
for production use on Windows?
