[OpenAFS] AIX 4.3.3. pts malloc error

Hello all,

I'm trying to configure an openafs cell on an AIX 4.3.3. machine using the
openafs 1.2.6 rs_aix42.tar.gz precompile from the openafs.org website. I am
able to get basic cell services up and running but on issuing some pts
commands I get the following error:
>pts membership admin -noauth
pts: malloc failed to alloc enough memory translating ids

I saw that somebody posted a similar question months ago but I never saw a
finite resolution come out of the thread. Does anybody know of a solution
to this error?
