Hi,

With OpenAFS 1.2.9-rc4 and Red Hat Linux 9 (2.4.20-8) I'm having a load
of problems with afs not shutting down cleanly.

[root@beo-test root]# service afs stop
Stopping AFS client: umount: /afs: device is busy
afsd: Shutting down all afs processes and afs state
AFS isn't unmounted yet!
WARM shutting down of: CB... afs... BkG... CTrunc... AFSDB... RxEvent... RxListener...
Unmounting AFS filesystem: umount2: Device or resource busy
umount: /afs: device is busy
                                                           [FAILED]
                                                           [ OK ]
Removing AFS modules: openafs: Device or resource busy
                                                           [FAILED]
[root@beo-test root]#

[root@beo-test root]# service afs start
Loading AFS kernel module: [ OK ]
Starting AFS client: You must reload the AFS kernel extensions before remounting AFS.
afsd: All AFS daemons started.
afsd: Can't mount AFS on /afs(22)
afsd: All AFS daemons started.
                                                           [FAILED]
Setting the sysname:fs: Input/output error
                                                           [FAILED]
[root@beo-test root]#

I see the same messages when I shutdown the system. I also get a rather
humorus error from the "VFS: inodes busy after unmount. Self destructing
in 5 seconds. Have a nice day..."

Will this be fixed in 1.2.9 final?
