Hi,

Now I have installed amanda client side with client-src/selfcheck.c patched and
--with-gnutar=/bin/tar
I try to backup an afs single.volume for this I put in the disklist file:

>>> afs.server.host afs:user.arnold   comp-user-tar  <<<<<

where user.arnold is a volume name given by "vos listvldb"

Amanda fails with an "disk off line" error: below the debug files:

selfcheck.debug:
=======================
selfcheck: debug 1 pid 26347 ruid 37 euid 37 start time Thu Apr 10 10:16:47 2003
/usr/lib/amanda/selfcheck: version 2.4.2p2
selfcheck: checking disk afs:user.arnold
selfcheck: device afs:user.arnold
selfcheck: OK
selfcheck: pid 26347 finish time Thu Apr 10 10:16:47 2003
====================
it seems correct.

and here sendsize.debug:

========================
sendsize: debug 1 pid 26349 ruid 37 euid 37 start time Thu Apr 10 10:17:22 2003
/usr/lib/amanda/sendsize: version 2.4.2p2

sendsize: getting size via gnutar for afs:user.arnold level 0

sendsize: spawning /usr/lib/amanda/runtar in pipeline

/bin/tar: afs\:user.arnold: Cannot chdir: No such file or directory

.....
(no size line match in above gnutar output)
.....
sendsize: pid 26349 finish time Thu Apr 10 10:17:22 2003
=====================================

can you help me about this error ?
>>> bin/tar: afs\:user.arnold: Cannot chdir: No such file or directory <<<<
