[OpenAFS] DNS?

Lack of networking setup can certainly be a problem.  You don't need a =
DNS server setup -- /etc/hosts is fine.=20

I'm having trouble configuring my afs server.
I have a fresh instal off RH9 and I'm following the QuickStart guide
step by step. But I cannot get any further than starting the buserver
where it fails with Ubik init failed and a=20
bos status afs.hib.no -noauth say that all 4 servers are stopped for to
many errors.

what I'm wondering is wether OpenAFS requires a DNS server to get the IP
of the machine, since this is a test setup on a machine not connected to
the net in any way.
