Does anyone know what this means?
saturn> pts delete jomier
pts: I/O error writing dbase or log deleting jomier (id: 3672)
The user remains after the failed operation. We also get the
corresponding error when trying to add a user or change a password.
The log files seem fine and 'bos getlog' prints them without producing
any errors, so it's probably not the log files. we get the same error
no matter where the command is run (of the 2 DB servers).
We tried fsck'ing the root disk (errors were corrected) where
/usr/afs/{db,log} are located, rebooting the afs server, comparing the
/usr/afs/db files between the servers (identical).
setup:
Server #1: RH 7.2 kernel 2.4.7-10smp openafs 1.2.7 dual PII CPU
Server #2: RH 8.0 kernel 2.4.18-14smp openafs 1.2.10 dual XEON CPU
