WILSN202-A is the name of your machine. It is not
the name of the AFS SMB Service.
If the loopback had been identified as the MS Loopback
Adapter by the code, then it would have published the
name "AFS" as the SMB service name. The loopback was
not recognized (perhaps because it did not have a valid
IP address at the time the AFS Client Service was started)
and therefore the constructed name was "WILSN202-A-AFS"
but this name was never published because there were
no valid network adapters at the time of publication.
Try following Doug's suggestion of assigning a static
IP address of 10.10.10.10 or some such to the Loopback
adapter so you don't have to wait for the DHCP timeout
to complete.
