Folks,

I had an interesting problem a few days ago that I was hoping someone
could shed some light on. I moved a couple large volumes (each as 1.5 -
2 GB) from a linux server running 1.2.10 to a transarc server on
solaris. The next day I noticed that all mount points from the linux
server were timing out. Restarted afs fixed the problem but I can't
figure out what caused it and I've got some weird logs:

Tue Apr 20 17:43:19 2004 fssync: volume 537453199 moved to 67090198;
breaking all call backs

Wed Apr 21 10:33:20 2004 Shutting down file server at Wed Apr 21

The fileserver shutdown normally. What does GetHostCPS failed mean?
Can someone figure out what happend?

Thanks,
