Yeah; that doesn't mean anything -- if the volume can't be attached, there 
is no way to get the real quota and usage information.

I'd check to see whether any of these are in the VLDB (since this may 
affect whether you care about recovering them), and then run 'bos salvage' 
over them as I described in my previous message.  If you get the 'no 
applicable vice inodes' message, you can safely remove the .vol files.
