I looked at the config files of another AFS server we have and changed
CellServDB.

It looks like some stuff is starting, I made a symbolic link to another libafs
library (I made the soft link
 libafs-2.4.21-4.ELsmp.mp.o -> libafs-2.4.21-4.EL-i686.mp.o )

however when I try to use klog I get the following :
Unable to authenticate to AFS because Cache Manager is not initialized / afsd is
not running.

ps -eaf shows :
root 2479 1 0 10:05 ? 00:00:00 /usr/afs/bin/bosserver
root 2481 2479 0 10:05 ? 00:00:00 /usr/afs/bin/kaserver
root 2482 2479 0 10:05 ? 00:00:00 /usr/afs/bin/buserver
root 2483 2479 0 10:05 ? 00:00:00 /usr/afs/bin/ptserver
root 2484 2479 0 10:05 ? 00:00:00 /usr/afs/bin/vlserver
root 2485 2479 0 10:05 ? 00:00:00 /usr/afs/bin/fileserver
root 2486 2479 0 10:05 ? 00:00:00 /usr/afs/bin/volserver
root 2487 2479 0 10:05 ? 00:00:00 /usr/afs/bin/upserver -crypt
/usr/afs/etc -clear /usr/afs/bin

When I check my other server it shows "a lot more

When I check with that server it looks like a lot of stuff didn't get started.
(there's a bunch more fileservers running, and afsd is running)
