oh wait.   in DNS  csc.depauw.edu is referred to as santa.  That machine doesn't 
exist. (I asked networking 20,000 times to remove it from dns ...but 
somehow....)

csc.depauw.edu is the name of the "old" cell   it is running on 
helios.csc.depauw.edu

afs-2.csc.depauw.edu is the new cell it runs on neptune.csc.depauw.edu
