Hello,
I still have some trouble accessing volumes in a cell.
When I use the windows client and map a drive ("drive letters" tab)
I use :
Drive letter: Drive K:
AFS Path: \afs\csc.depauw.edu\home\cowboy
Description: csc-cowboy
this drive will just work.
When I map another drive :
Drive letter: Drive L:
AFS Path: \afs\afs-2.csc.depauw.edu\home\cowboy
Description: afs2-cowboy
this drive won't work
in cmd.exe
DIR K: gives me a correct directory listing
DIR L:
The system cannot find the file specified.
Any ideas where to start looking for what is wrong ?
(in case it is a problem with the 2nd cell (afs-2.csc.depauw) then where can I
find what I did wrong ?)
btw:
Status Local Remote Network
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------
OK G: \\afs\all Microsoft Windows Network
OK K: \\afs\csc-cowboy Microsoft Windows Network
OK L: \\afs\afs2-cowboy Microsoft Windows Network
OK \\afs\afs2-cowboy Microsoft Windows Network
OK \\afs\all Microsoft Windows Network
OK \\afs\csc-cowboy Microsoft Windows Network
The command completed successfully.
When I use "fs mkmount" to create a mountpoint :
\\afs\all\afs2-cowboy instead of \\afs\afs-cowboy then things seem to work.
