Thanks Horst, I was successfully able to compile it, disregarding pam
with the configure option of "--disable-pam"

I took a second look and realized that you're using AIX 5.1 and there's
AFAIK no PAM support in AIX 5.1. After ML01 the PAM Library is included.
So that won't be a big mistake if you just skip the PAM stuff ;-) unless
you're really depending on that.=20
