Hello all,

I'm running a small openafs server 1.2.9 on redhat 7.3 and recently had a
problem that initiated a salvage which never finishes after 8 hours.

My logs doesn't show anything unusual:

BosLog:
Mon May 24 14:32:48 2004: Server directory access is ok

SalvageLog:
@(#) OpenAFS 1.2.9 built 2003-04-15
05/24/2004 14:50:37 STARTING AFS SALVAGER 2.4 (/usr/afs/bin/salvager)
05/24/2004 14:50:37 Starting salvage of file system partition /vicepa

Has anyone seen this kind of behaviour? How can I stop somehow the salvager
without losing data?

Regards,
