| Yes, dpkg -l | grep -i openafs:
|
| atalab1:~# dpkg -l | grep -i openafs
| ii openafs-client 1.3.81-3 The AFS distributed
| ii openafs-dbserv 1.3.81-3 The AFS distributed
| ii openafs-filese 1.3.81-3 The AFS distributed
| ii openafs-krb5 1.3-10 The AFS distributed
| ii openafs-module 1.3.81-3+10.00 The AFS distributed Kernel Module
| ii openafs-module 1.3.81-3 The AFS distributed Module Source
|
| How do I find which version of the module I have from the module source.
| I did poke around but could not find it. But the built .deb package is
| openafs-modules-2.4.28_1.3.81-3+10.00.Custom_i386.deb. There is only one
| kernel source installed (2.4.28).

Wow, 10.0 revisions of one kernel, I only reached 6 or 7 ;-)
But that looks good at all. Have you checked the /afs permissions?
And maybe deleted the cache items?
IMHO the cache style changed between 1.2.x and 1.3.81, but maybe I just
tell strange dumb stuff.
Oh, while building the modules on debian, be sure to select preemptive
kernel AND SMP or none of both, that was a showstopper for my 1.3.81...
And you are sure, you?re kernel revision is the same as the module?
