Hi All
Sorry for sending mail for a simple mistake. the problem that the root was not allowed to login OR close the session immediately after login was a missing line from in pam.conf file " login auth optional pam_unix_cred.so.1"

hi All
I have configured AFS integrated login on solaris 9 . I have edited the pam.conf file as follows.

login auth requisite pam_authtok_get.so.1
login auth optional pam_dhkeys.so.1
login auth optional pam_unix_cred.so.1
login auth optional pam_unix_auth.so.1
login auth optional pam_afs.so.1 ignore_root try_first_pass ignore_root setenv_password_expires
login auth required pam_dial_auth.so.1

telnet auth requisite pam_authtok_get.so.1
telnet auth optional pam_dhkeys.so.1
telnet auth optional pam_unix_auth.so.1
telnet auth optional pam_afs.so.1 try_first_pass ignore_root setenv_p
assword_expires
but when I try to login as root to the machine, which was available earlier is not possible now.
Can any one please guide me what might be the problem
