If you would like a Linux-ized Quick Beginnings in Latex, & pdf it can be
sent directly from here. Additional servers are discussed in Quick
Beginnings.

The User's Guide and Reference Manuals print out nicely at 4 pages per 2
sided sheet.

Also have you checked out the OpenAFS Wiki on this subject[1]?  I haven't
tried using it, but if it is wrong or incomplete it can be easily updated.
In particular, it would be easy and helpful to add links to more detailed
how-tos for specific distributions or circumstances.
