[OpenAFS] openafs-1.3.71-rhel3.1 - Cache Problem?

In testing the metioned version of OpenAFS in Red Hat, we are noticing that
Read-Only volumes are not picking up changes from Read-Writes after we
release the volume multiple times.  The only way we can force the change is
to do an ls -l on the RO and RW path to force some sort of cache update.
Any ideas?
