In experimental or unstable is a 1.4.0rc4 version available which runs
flawless on my debian amd64 box. OK, I'm not on pure sarge, but who
cares at all?
Even the debian 32bit clients here which are sarge got the rc4 and I've
got no error report about Ooops til yet.
I must tell that I compile my own kernel with make-kpkg and with gcc3.3.
