[OpenAFS] local password file?

I've been reading through the following two links:

Is syncing the local password file still relevant with OpenAFS 1.4,
OpenLDAP, and Kerberos v5?  If there's more relevant docs regarding
managing user accounts with this combination, please let me know.=20
