Scenario On a previously "known good" 2003 server:

Open a directory with several hundred photos

Turn thumbnails on

Scroll around and view photos, start drag and dropping to a local project
directory

Explorer eventually carps about not being able to read address 0X000000000

If dbgview and filemon and fs trace -on are used, the system slows up to the
point of being unusable and the thumbnail creation hangs

If fs trace -dump is used instead where does the log file get created?

Is a binary version of fs trace output possible?

Should the TraceBufferSize be increased to 500K?

This same scenario works fine using Konqueror on a linux box.
