After a bit more rooting around I notice in the FileServer log:

Sun Aug 27 04:00:46 2006 Getting FileServer name...
Sun Aug 27 04:00:46 2006 FileServer host name is 'sprite-comsc'
Sun Aug 27 04:00:46 2006 Getting FileServer address...
Sun Aug 27 04:00:46 2006 FileServer sprite-comsc has address 127.0.0.1
(0x100007f or 0x7f000001 in host byte order)

I assume this is the root of the problem. How tell the fileserver what
it's real IP address is since it appears to be getting it wrong?

Thanks,
Huw
