fs:'.': Connection timed out (it's a DYNROOT)

root.cell.readonly

> cd <user directory>
> fs lq

I assume you mean "<cell>/home":

home.readonly

> fs lsm <user home directory mount point>

Which one did you want? I have HOME=3D/afs/tfy.utu.fi/home/.juhaj, and

'juhaj' is a mount point for volume '#tfy.utu.fi:user.juhaj'
'.juhaj' is a mount point for volume '%tfy.utu.fi:user.juhaj'

> cd <user home directory mount point>
> fs lq

Same order as above, the two directories give

user.juhaj.readonly
user.juhaj

Is this .user vs user mountpoint configuration stupid or strange? I
thought that's how the manual suggests it's done...

Cheers,
Juha
