[OpenAFS] Unable to compile on RHEL 4 Update 1

Hi All,

configure aborts with the error :

checking whether to build osi_vfs.h... checking for linux kernel module
build works... no

configure: error: Fix problem or use --disable-kernel-module...

Any ideas . what is causing this ?

When configure does this check-> checking for linux kernel module build
works. ..  what exactly it checks for ( any specific header fiel ? )
