macos comes with kerberos. you may wish to integrate with login, but the
current packages don't. if you want to add it, it's yours to add.

Also, last time we use openafs on a mac, finder would hang on occasion

hang, or just be slow? remember it wants to stat everything.

is what gets run. It will start by default
