I'm trying to setup a NFS gateway and I keep failing:
=20
I'm a complete beginner on this, but trying to learn. I tried to follow =
the guides, but couldnt quite get it to work.
=20
=20
klog <myadmin>
fs exportafs -start on -convert on -type nfs
Sorry, the nfs-exporter type is currently not supported on this AFS =
client
=20
=20
* I have a working AFS cell.
=20
* I have a working NFS server - that is also a AFS client.
=20
* The NFS "/etc/export" contains:
=20
/export/scratch *(rw,async)
/afs *(rw,async)

=20
* On the NFS server the /etc/sysconfig/openafs (with the afsd =
arguments) contains:
=20
# cat /etc/sysconfig/openafs
# OpenAFS Client Configuration
AFSD_ARGS=3D"-dynroot -fakestat -rmtsys"
=20
# OpenAFS Server Configuration
BOSSERVER_ARGS=3D

After exportfs, restarting afs, etc. I still get this message.
=20
Do I need some specific kernel module to get this to work (the =
documentation is a bit unclear on this) or what am I doing wrong?
=20
=20
$ uname -a
Linux myhost 2.6.9-55.ELsmp #1 SMP Fri Apr 20 16:36:54 EDT 2007 x86_64 =
x86_64 x86_64 GNU/Linux=20
=20
$ rpm -qa
openafs-kernel-smp-1.4.4-2.6.9_55.ELsmp_2
openafs-1.4.2-1.1

Any help apprechiated.
