I'm trying to install the rpm for openafs client on rhel 5.2, and am rather
confused.

Looking at all the kmod-rpms I am guessing that since my kernel is

kernel-2.6.18-53.1.19.el5

then is should get

kmod-openafs-1.4.7-1.1.2.6.18_53.el5.i686.rpm

however, this module informs me that openafs-kmod needs 'kernel-i686'. Is
that a package from opeanfs.org, or from redhat. Looking at the kernel rpms
that I have installed I have
sudo rpm -qa | grep kernel
kernel-devel-2.6.18-92.el5
kernel-xen-2.6.18-53.1.19.el5
kernel-devel-2.6.18-53.1.19.el5
kernel-xen-2.6.18-92.el5
kernel-2.6.18-53.1.19.el5
kernel-headers-2.6.18-92.el5
kernel-PAE-2.6.18-92.1.1.el5

-- the operative kernel being kernel-2.6.18-53.el, to which the closes kmod
package is the --2.6.18_53.el.. etc. The one I got.

So can anyone tell me what rpms I need to get from openafs.org and in what
order I need to install them to make a RHEL 5.2 box have a working cache
manager? This is not going to be an afs server. Seems like there was a lot
of work to make the many rpm's that are available, but I don't see any step
by step guide to getting them installed.
