[OpenAFS] AFS perl modules on RHEL4 x86_64

Has anyone been able to get the AFS perl modules (by Norbert E  
Gruener, v2.4.0) to work on RHEL4 x86_64?  I found reference to  
someone saying they had it partially working but light on the details.
