[OpenAFS] questions about volume size?

i got this error.

[root@fs home]# vos release -id home.rwaur
Volume 536871041 has no replicas - release operation is meaningless!
VOLSER: illegal operation
Error in vos release command.
VOLSER: illegal operation

would you please teach me how to release volumes? thank you very much!
