It should be noted that the for the most part the AFS cache parameters
were untuned with the exception of chunksize which was set at 19
for these tests. Current versions of OpenAFS will yield slightly better
performance and the multi client read issue was resolved a while ago.
If you're getting 10 MB AFS client speeds my guess is that you're using
100 Mb network links so the network is slowing you down.
