That is the KB article that Microsoft has yet to publish. The hot fix
is real and was released on June 4th. Call Microsoft PSS under your
support contract and mention the KB number to obtain it.
The hot fix prevents a deadlock in the Windows kernel. Its Windows that
needs to work properly, not OpenAFS.
