I asked about the client -daemons flag.

The simple answer I got was that there was no easy way to see how
many of the daemons that where used.

The helpful community also provided a number of other
suggestions that I have since acted upon.

At this time we are updating the "five year plan" for our e-mail
service and it looks like we will stop using AFS for mail
storage.

In conclusion. Thank you for the help provided.
