The NetBIOS issue is fixed for most users by 1.5.9902 but not for
everyone. The underlying Windows bug is still there and it can be

1. 5.9902 is simply the next release for Windows. There is nothing
special in the 1.5 to 1.6 transition for the Windows platform.

1.6.0pre2. From reading the changelog, it appears that for Windows the v=

have the same expected general stability as its predecessor version. Thus=
 for Windows, where we have 1.5.7x deployed, moving to 1.5.9902 is simply=
 the appropriate next release. Is this a correct read on the Windows rel=
ease situation? We haven't encountered any unusual issues that would mak=
e us think otherwise, but I wanted to confirm since *nix follows a differ=
ent stream (i.e. 1.4.x -> 1.6.x is a big upgrade) and that's what I follo=
w the closest.
