[OpenAFS] 64bit windows - can't uninstall 1.5.7100

hi,

Trying to get a newer version on a faculty computer...  installing =
1.5.99d gives an error message: "the older version of OpenAFS (64 bit) =
cannot be removed."

I also tried removing it from Windows control panel, says it can't find =
the program to run the un-install.  (prof might have wiped out that =
OpenAFS directory, he tried several things, this has been an issue for a =
few months)  And also tried installing 1.5.78, gives the same error =
message.

Suggestions?
