[OpenAFS] Additional 1.6.8pre2 binaries available for testing
Fri, 9 May 2014 19:11:43 +0200
Additional binaries for the second 1.6.8 prerelease are now available =
the following platforms
RHEL 7 rc (& clones)
OpenSUSE 12.2, 12.3, 13.1
SUSE Linux Enterprise 11 SP2, 11 SP3
and can be accessed through the link/paths given in the announcement.
Thanks are due to Stephen Quinney for providing the EL7 builds and
to Christof Hanke for the SUSE ones.
The cache consistency issue observed on Linux clients at one site
turned out to be an older problem and probably has existed for several
years. It will be addressed in OpenAFS 1.6.9.
We currently intend to release 1.6.8 next Wednesday, without further
changes to 1.6.8pre2.
