Greetings,

I would like to know what the general consensus is on performing a manual r=
un of "bos salvage" with DAFS. Do other OpenAFS DAFS users out there see i=
t necessary?

I read that it is not necessary to do a "bos salvage" with DAFS, but that i=
t should be done if you suspect a bug or corruption. I personally haven't =
noticed any bugs or corruption, but wondered if it would just be good pract=
ice to have "bos salvage" run on a cron job every so often to ensure nothin=
g is missed; and if anyone else out there has been doing just that.

Thanks in advance for any input.
-Brian
