[OpenAFS] Remove all trace of an AFS backup volume

Here's a simple-minded question that I am wondering about. Say
I create a brand new AFS volume. At the 'vos examine' level,
it might look like this:

# vos examine test.abcd.efgh
test.abcd.efgh 537664400 RW 2 K On-line
    some.server.some.edu /vicepa =

    RWrite 537664400 ROnly 0 Backup 0 =

    MaxQuota 95000 K =

    Creation Sat Feb 13 11:46:32 2016
    Copy Sat Feb 13 11:46:32 2016
    Backup Never
    Last Access Sat Feb 13 11:49:50 2016
    Last Update Sat Feb 13 11:46:41 2016
16 accesses in the past day (i.e., vnode references)

    RWrite: 537664400 =

If I do a 'vos backup', a backup volume is created. Later on I
decide I will never ever want a backup volume for that volume,
so I 'vos remove test.abcd.efgh.backup. After I do that, the
RW volume might look something like:

# vos examine test.abcd.efgh
test.abcd.efgh 537664400 RW 2 K On-line
    some.server.some.edu /vicepa =

    RWrite 537664400 ROnly 0 Backup 537664402 =

    MaxQuota 95000 K =

    Creation Sat Feb 13 11:46:32 2016
    Copy Sat Feb 13 11:46:32 2016
    Backup Fri Feb 13 22:06:04 2016
    Last Access Sat Feb 13 11:49:50 2016
    Last Update Sat Feb 13 11:46:41 2016
16 accesses in the past day (i.e., vnode references)

    RWrite: 537664400 =

The only thing I'm wondering about is whether I can get the "Backup"
VID field set back to "0", and get the "Backup" date back to "Never".

I'm not losing any sleep over this, but I was just wondering. I
also wonder if anything anywhere would even care that the Backup
VID field is 537664402, when there is no volume with that VID.
