Regardless of how willing Apple might be, I think we're pretty much on
our own for the next few months at least.
We received a dual G5 on Wednesday afternoon, installed OpenAFS on it,
and it panicked five times yesterday, generally in file-intensive
operations such as software installation and starting LaunchBar. It's
not like this problem is hard for us to reproduce. I'm working on
trying to get some people to volunteer to help here, but (as usual)
everyone's too busy and/or more interested in working on their own
projects than bug fixing on a complex system about which they know
little.
