Hey OpenAFSers-

We have a quite a few Macs running a mixture of 10.3.9 and 10.4.2.
The 10.3.9 boxes are running the 1.3.x branch of OpenAFS client and
the 10.4.2 boxes are running the 1.4.1 branch. There seems to be a
fair number of freezes and panics across both versions of OS X and
I'm trying to figure out why. Somewhere on the order of 4-6 panics
per day on the 150 or so machines. Most of the panic logs seem to
indicate OpenAFS was the cause of the panic. I don't see that many
bad reports on this list, but I got to thinking what kind of AFS
server are people running? Apparently, our IT group has a "old
TransARC server" (no word on which version). Does anyone use the
TransARC server and OpenAFS client combination with some level of
success?

Thanks for any feedback you can provide. =)

-Mikey
