Does your machine panic, or does it just sit there with a blue screen
and/or gear icon forever?  If the former, the relevant contents of
/Library/Logs/panic.log would be useful to the OpenAFS developers.

I've seen sporadic hangs on restart on our Macs for years, but nothing
reproducible enough to report.  The "always" part is a good thing, as
it means there's some possibility it can get fixed :-)
